Hard to believe that we're already in April. It's never easy to shift from one season to another, but a balanced life is all about perspectives and change. Last year this time, I had no idea that I would leave my university counseling center job at SMU and embark on the journey of private practice. Yet, here I am. When I started my practice 4 months ago, I didn't think I would feel brave enough to create a blog for all to see. Yet, again, here I am.
So welcome to my new beginnings! I hope to share my thoughts, perspectives, and expertise, and maybe help you find new paths to take in your own life. For now, here is my favorite message for this spring:
